About the Band

Bursting with a powerful fusion of blues, The Movers will get your pulse racing and your feet tapping! Born from the musical kinship of guitarist John “Shadow” Stiles and vocalist Sean “Earthquake” McCue, the band's roots trace back to Newark, NY. Back then, the synergy with original members Lyle “Fud” Comstock and Howard “H” Derue sparked a sonic revolution that still vibrates to this day.

The groove deepened when Shadow's prodigious son Anson added his unique brand of electric bass. And then, the rhythmic puzzle came full circle with the addition of John Chaffer on drums. This dynamic squad was fully formed in 2020, showcasing their resilience and unbreakable spirit by keeping the rhythm alive through the pandemic.
